Georgia Menides

Georgia was a Bachelor of Fine Arts major from TISCH School of the Arts, New York University, in New York, NY. She studied Dramatic Writing and Playwriting.

Georgia adapted the play Short Stops for our C-MENT production. She also wrote the script for our Variety Show, presented in January of 1988. The overall play tied diverse acts into a single story line.

Georgia has experience working with children as a Drama Teacher/Gym Coach for School For the Physical City in New York, NY. She taught acting and directing classes in terms of their connection to sports. She also taught acting classes to 5-12 year olds as the Drama Teacher/Theatre Director for Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary in Charleton, MA.

Recently, she has been spending her time as Props Assistant/Assistant Props Master for The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA. Before that, she was the Stage Manager/Props Master for the SOHO Repertory Theatre in New York, NY.
